Warranty Request
PLKB warrants their products, when they are purchased from an authorized PLKB dealer by a retail customer, to be free of major defects in material or workmanship to the original purchaser, for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase by the original retail customer.
The warranty on product is valid only when it is solely used for designated purposes e.g.: kiteboarding on water (does not apply to any product used for rental and/ or teaching purposes).
Therefore, since no kite or related product is indestructible, the following must be excluded:
- Normal wear and tear
- Any rips, scratches, punctures or any other damage caused by foreign objects
- (Salt) water, sand and sun/UV degradation of materials.
- Damage caused by improper set-up or handling
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, hard crashes and or impacts, lack of maintenance, neglect and user error.
- Use in commercial, rental or teaching environments.
- Damage caused by use in waves or shore break.
- Exposure to excessive heat or cold
- Improper storage
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in material and workmanship.

1 - Send form on the left FULLY completed
2 – PLKB will confirm that we have received it and will confirm that you can return the product
3 – Ship product and include a copy of your invoice in the package
4 – Make sure returned products are packaged well (originally packaging preferred)
5 – Make sure there is sufficient postage on the package (returned packages with insufficient postage will not be accepted)
6 - Please allow up to 7 days for returns processing (for warranties it might be 3-4 weeks). Regarding the return warranty: if the warranty is accepted we will refund the shipping costs after receipt of the product (please wait for our confirmation).

Limitations on Warranty
This warranty is subject to the following limitations:
1. The warranty is solely for the benefit of the original retail purchaser and may not be assigned. For retail customer warranty claims, proof of purchase from an authorized PLKB dealer is required. If the date of purchase cannot be established, PLKB will make a determination based on the last production year and/or the condition of the particular product claimed.
2. PLKB will make the final warranty determination, which may require inspection and/or photos of the equipment. Photos must clearly show the defect(s). If necessary, this information must be sent to the PLKB dealer where the product was originally purchased, postage prepaid or you may contact the PLKB distributor in (or nearest to) your country. Alternatively, by filling the form on the left, you can include the clear photos of the product and a clear and specific description of the defect(s) that will directly be assessed by the staff at PLKB headquarters in the Netherlands.
3. If a product is deemed to be defective by PLKB, the warranty covers the repair or replacement of the defective product only. PLKB will not be responsible for any costs, losses, or damages incurred as a result of loss of use of the product.
4. The warranty is voided if any unauthorized repair, change or modification has been made to any part of the equipment, or if the product is used in combination with non-PLKB products, causing damage or failure.
5. The warranty for any repaired or replaced equipment takes effect from the date of the original purchase only. The original purchase receipt must accompany all warranty claims. The name of the PLKB dealer and the date of purchase must be clear and legible.
6. There are no warranties which extend beyond the warranty specified herein.
